Helen's Doll Collection

Here are some of my friend Helen's dolls from all over the world. The cabinet was made for her especially to house the dolls. Obviously, I was entranced by dolls everywhere I went, but this photograph actually came out - it's two really put together, as the sliding doors hide one half or the other.

While I was at Helen and Dave's I came down with a horrible stomach flu. Helen was a real trooper, nursing me back to health with broth and rice and such. Whenever I was neither in the bathroom or asleep helen either shared one of her beautiful poems with me of gave me feedback on one of my poems from a little hand made book I brought to share. It was wonderful, even if I was only about 1/4 present!
