There's a round from my childhood: "Make new friends, but keep the old, one friend's silver, and the other's gold." That's what I was thinking about when I drew this. I got hold of the walk in clinic and have another appointment for tomorrow afternoon. I may have to run to the store in the morning for a couple of things I will need for the cake. Shame too, because I have almost enough of everything. I have chosen the recipes for the cake and two frostings, caramel inside and chocolate fudge on top and down the sides. Devil's food cake. I am really looking forward to it. Really annoying to have to go to the doctor's in the middle of everything. Oh well, it will be worth all the fuss in the end.
