Today I attended the Spring Gathering of the Greater Vancouver Gogos, a group dedicated to raising money for Grandmothers in Africa raising their grandchildren orphaned by AIDS. The local Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows group I belong to is the Golden Ears Gogos - grandmothers to grandmothers. Our next activity is a big garage sale next month. I and a helper are making aprons with pockets for the workers to wear. My friend Tammy designed out beautiful logo, which I am hoping to be able to place on the apron, if I can find someone with a decent ink jet printer. Also, I am hoping to be involved in designing out facebook page.
