Here are my latest soft sculpture dolls. The fronts are drawn in ink and painted in gell pens. The backs are cloth especially chosen for each personality. In general they deal with issues of body image. In order they are:A woman of a Certain Age, Angie Angel, Blue Goddess of Peace, Green Goddess of Prosperity, Meri Mer-Woman, Meri-Anna Mer-Woman and Meribella Mew-Woman. I hope you enjoy looking at these 2D representations and if you live locally please come visit them at the Maple Ridge Art Gallery during the exhibition Ensemble 2012, Sat. Nov. 24 to Thurs. Dec. 20.
Opening Reception is on Saturday November 24 from 2 to 4 p.m.
