Eye surgery done! It a very nice and more of a relief than I would care to admit, to have both eyes done. Nice group of patients today with camaradarie and humor. As was remarked by a couple of folks, no more eyes to go! Eight people came to the gallery today, which certainly livened up the joint! Two women came because one was a beader and she wanted to see my bead work. Both enjoyed the show. Then Jean from Frasier Valley Bead Club came with her mom, also a beader, and that was fun. Jean bought a card - my first sale, and cause for much celebration. Then a couple of teen age boys came in - one of them had been here once with his parents and was showing the gallery to his friend. Then a couple came in to see Tammy's dragon painting. She said she was 62 and got her first tattoo, of a dragon, at age 60, and this was the first art to inspire her to get another tattoo! So she took Tammy's card and will get in touch with Tammy about a design for her next tattoo. That on top of the man yesterday from Great Canadian Stamp Company whi wants some drawing by Tammy, and possibly by me too, to make rubber stamps from. How cool is all this?!?!
